Note :: Brazilian Passport Specifications have recently and now conform to European passport standards. These are

• The Brazilian embassy specifies 3 recent photos at 35x45mm
• Front view with light gray or off white background is required
• Passport booth instant photos are not accepted
• Head size (as UK) 31 to 36mm
• A date is no longer required on the front of Brazilian passport photos

See our guide on unacceptable passport photos. The date requirement for Brazilian Passport Photos has now changed. It is no longer a requirement for Brazilian passport photos. However many of our Brazilian customers still insist on it and Brazilian Government agencies still seem to accept these dated passport photos.

 

Below is an outline of the old Brazil Passport Photo Requirements. These have now changed and are not accepted

Note :: Different Brazilian Consulates sometimes specify different criteria

• The Brazilian embassy specifies 3 recent photos at 5x7cm
• Front view with light background colour is required
• Passport booth instant photos are not accepted
• Brazilian passport photos requires a date as shown
• The date cannot be digitally added to the brazilian passport photo

Brazilian Visa Photos ( Same as US Visa Standards)

• One recent 2"x 2" passport-type photograph of applicant
• Brazilian Visa Photos must show the entire face
• The Visa photo must show a front view of the face
• White backgrounds are required for Brazilian Visa Photos
• Snapshots and computer pictures are not accepted as Brazilian Visa Photos

The above criteria seem to be the most current but please bring in an example or a set of specifications for what you require
