Brazilian Passport and Visa photo requirements have changed recently. We are one of a handful of professional passport studios in Europe who have the expertise and equipment to produce a set of Brazilian passport to the correct requirements . The date requirement for Brazilian Passport Photos has now changed. It is no longer a requirement for Brazilian passport photos. However many of our Brazilian customers still insist on it and Brazilian Government agencies still seem to accept these dated passport photos (see below)

Brazilian Passport Specifications now conform to European passport standards.

  • The Brazilian embassy specifies 3 recent photos at 35x45mm
  • Front view with light gray or off white background is required
  • Passport booth instant photos are not accepted
  • Head size (as UK) 31 to 36mm
  • A date is no longer required on the front of Brazilian passport photos

  • One recent 2"x 2" passport-type photograph of applicant
  • Brazilian Visa Photos must show the entire face
  • The Visa photo must show a front view of the face
  • White backgrounds are required for Brazilian Visa Photos
  • Snapshots and computer pictures are not accepted as Brazilian Visa Photos

Old Style Brazilian Passport and ID Photos

Many Brazilians are still requesting the old style 50 x 70mm photo for ID purposes, often with a date. If you require this size of photo please pop in or email us
