Canadian visa, citizenship, immigration and passport requirements are without a doubt the
strictest in the world. Our professional passport studios in London
are equipped to do them well. For this reason we do charge a
little more Canadian passport and Visa photos
but we tend to get it right first time.
No appointment is necessary and we can usually
print them out within 5 minutes but it's always good to let
us know you are coming in. We are based in Camden High Street
London and are open 7 days a week.

Glasses must not in any way obscure the eyes

A neutral expression with no teeth showing is specified

The image must be in the middle

The length from chin to crown of head must
be 31 mm to 36 mm.

Canadian Passport Photos :: Quantity and Format
Two identical unaltered photos produced
from the same film or from the same electronic file capturing
the digital image.

Passport Photos must be printed on high quality
photographic paper

Photographic paper must have a backing that
accepts and retains the photographer's stamp and date, and
the guarantors statement and signature, without smearing

taken by a commercial photographer

The name of the photographer, the address
and the date the photo was taken must be provided directly
on the back of one of the passport photos

Stick-on labels are unacceptable

Sufficient space must be allowed for the name
of the applicant, the signature of a guarantor and the guarantor's
declaration
Canadian Citizenship Photos :: £19.99
- Citizenship photos are sized at 35 x 53mm
- The image size is 35 x 43mm
- There is a 10mm space below the photo for a signature
- A matt finish is required on Citizenship photos
- Two identical photos are required for Canadian citizenship applications
- A Stamp is required on the back of each
The photographer is required to write or stamp on the back of the photo. Business name, address and date are required.
Canadian Citizenship photos take a bit longer than normal. Please allow about 20 minutes for us to print them out to the correct specifications

The face must be square to the camera with a neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling, with the mouth closed.

Provide two photographs of yourself and each accompanying family member with your application.

Photographs must be printed on quality photographic paper.

The photographs must be identical and taken within the last six months. They may be either black and white or colour.

The photographs must be clear, well defined and taken against a plain white or light-coloured background.

If the photographs are digital, they must not be altered in any way.

Your face must be square to the camera with a neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling, and with your mouth closed.

You may wear non-tinted prescription glasses as long as your eyes are clearly visible. Make sure that the frame does not cover any part of your eyes. Sunglasses are not acceptable.

A hairpiece or other cosmetic accessory is acceptable if it does not disguise your normal appearance.

If you must wear a head covering for religious reasons, make sure your full facial features are not obscured.
Canadian Visa :: Photograph and Head Size Specifications
- The frame size must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm
- The photographs must show the full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph, and include the top of the shoulders.
- The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31 mm and 36 mm
- Crown means the top of the head or (if obscured by hair or a head covering) where the top of the head or skull would be if it could be seen.
- If the photographs do not meet the specifications, you will have to provide new photographs before your application can be processed.

Canadian Immigration Photos :: Requirements :: £19.99
The most unusual request for Canadian Immigration photos is that they must be done on negative film. It seems that digital technology cannot be used. The other unusual requirement is that a set of 8 is required
- The immigration photos must show a full front view of the person’s head and shoulders showing full face centred in the middle of the photograph
- The photo must have a plain white background
- A set of 8 identical photos are required for Canadian Immigration.

Canadian Immigration Photos must be be identical (black and white or colour)

They must be produced from the same untouched negative, or exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera

Canadian Immigration photos must be 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown
- The immigration photos must have a 35 mm x 45 mm finished size

On the back of one photo (and only one) in each set, write the name and date of birth
of the person appearing in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken

You must enclose each set of photos in separate envelopes. Write the family member’s name,
date of birth and relationship to you on the corresponding envelope and close the
envelope with a paper clip
- Canadian Immigration Photos must not be stapled, scratched, bent or bear any ink mark
